Waterglass

Alnwick Castle, UK 2004

hero-image

One of eight works in The Serpent Garden at Alnwick Castle. A single curtain in the form of a transparent, clear, unbroken membrane of falling water wraps around a circular enclosure that can be entered and experienced from within, the outer views seen through the thin film of water. When there is no wind the film of water can be as clear as glass.
