Offspring I

Offspring I is a member of the family of pieces which originated in Nautilus, the work I did for Anglo American, which was inspired by a photograph by Edward Weston. This is of a section through a nautilus shell, which suggested to me the idea for a vertical sculpture that was a direct development of my ongoing rollwave series. This was temporarily at the Royal Academy of Arts for an exhibition and is now at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. See a short video here
